Peru, host of the Eighth Summit, in coordination with the Summits of the Americas Secretariat, has planned a series of activities with civil society organizations and social actors of the Hemisphere. These activities, which include a virtual forum, seek to generate a dialogue and exchange amongst the various actors of the Summits Process and their impact on it. The inputs from this forum will be compiled to a document of recommendations and presented to the countries for their consideration in preparation for the Eighth Summit.

Duration of the forum: October 9 - 25, 2017.

Objective: To provide civil society organizations and social actors with an opportunity to exchange their ideas and experiences, as well as offer recommendations on the main theme and three (3) subthemes of the Summit.
